premiership predictions thread

I think that it's possible for Spurs to maybe take one of the top 4 spots off Arsenal as things currently stand. If Wenger is given some cash to spend on a bit of steel in the side then Spurs will find it more difficult.

If Tottenham sign a couple of quality players and if Henry goes then they might be able to take fourth.

Otherwise I don't see it happening. I think it's highly unlikely that Arsenal will finish in the top 3 though.

Berbatov will be the answer to top 4 for spurs.

1 - Liverpool

I've seen that somewhere before ;). Last 3 seasons if IIRC :D.

I honestly can't see Arsenal finishing anything other than 3rd or 4th at the moment regardless of sales / purchases.

You say that, but predict Spurs won't even be in the top7?

5th place is minimum target for Spurs next year, but it's all about closing that elusive gap and I'm tempted to put a few quid on for a top4 finish. King getting injured again has me slightly worried unless we bring in another CB, but I'm confident that Spurs are showing improvement year on year.

The season before last we finished 5th after holding 4th for most of the season, we played decent football at times but relied too much on the big lump to Mido.

Last season the quality of our football went up dramatically, mostly influenced by the inclusion of Berbatatov adding top quality to our forward line. Set pieces and long shots were our downfall, and I fully expect the club to sort this in the preseason.

At this present moment in time, with transfers included, top two will be either Man Utd or Chelsea, we have both strengthened our squad, and these were squads already capable of winning the Premiership. Third and fourth between 3 teams, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Relegated - Derby, Wigan and Birmingham. (But I'll always have my fingers crossed for Man City to be relegated, Middlesbrough and West Ham too.)

I have to say, whenever that Arsenal team does come of age, everyone look out!
