I have an interview tomorrow and have to do a 10 minute presentation, now historically I have always done this sitting down at the table because it seems silly to stand in a small room in front of two people. My presentation doesn't require me to poke or prod my slides.

So I think I should remain seated and deliver. Would you agree?

No way.

You can articulate more and have better body language when standing.

It's an interview! They might even see it as lazy?

Can't give off the correct body language sat down! Standing up frees up posture and hand gestures. Also I think people stood up look more important!

Unless you have some reason to then always stand up. Exceptions maybe if your a teacher or something doing it regularly to the same people.

I did a presentation in front of my 2 bosses in August, infact it was a part of my post-probationary review.

All sat down, smashed it.

Depends on the circumstance. Surely it's not hard to improvise when you are there.

For ICE professional review presentations, they are meant to be done sat down at a table, using a desktop flipchart or similar.

I'd stand you can atleast walk around slightly whilst talking rather then being stuck in one spot.

For an interview definitely stand up.

Unlike what a lot of people are saying though, you don't always have to stand up for a presentation. Depends entirely on the situation

I think sitting down is better especially if the room is tiny. I haven't been too or done a meeting where anyone stands.

I'll continue to remain seated. It seems to work.
