Presentation - stand up or sit down?

Well interview and presentation went very well. They forgot the laptop so glad i printed handouts. I did it seated as the ROM wasvl tiny and no projected. Hand on heart I couldn't have done more

Alternatively, ask yourself "Do I really want a job where they want a presentation from me, about me? What's wrong with a god damn conversation?"

If you're tall then stand up as it will give you a bigger presence in the room, it also helps project your voice better.

Edit: Congrats

Depends on the nature of the presentation but I usually stand for at least some of it. If I've started sitting down then subconsciously I'll find myself jumping to my feet sooner or later to point out something pertinent in the presentation.

In contrast to what someone wrote above, if I'm merely facilitating then I'll usually sit throughout (apart from perhaps an introduction) as stood around not speaking much doesn't 'feel right' to me.
