Pressure washer? - Nilfisk?

So you need the aquastop connector bit at the garden tap end and the non aquastop connector attached to the inlet valve of the washer ?

Will have a look

I have the same issues with the connector, it's a bit of a pig to use but I do have an aquastop connector on the hose end, so maybe that's the cause. It just requires a bit of brute force and ignorance to get it on, but it looks to me like the screw thread is standard so I'm sure a hozelock connector would fit with no problems.

Aquastop goes on the hose at the exit end...not the tap end (and no it won't prevent the PW getting water if you use one).

Has my e130 four years now and still going strong. Only problem is I have to replace the rubber o rings where it connects to the Lance as they go brittle and split. Cheap enough though bought a massive box of them for 99p.

OK so aquastop at the nilfisk end not the tap end?

Will give that another go with some different connectors, that what I was doing but it wasnt really working.

Just remember that the aquastop will only allow water through in one direction so make sure you know which direction that is and then work out if fitting it will cause a problem.

Thats the whole point of aquastop yeh, although I thought it was to stop water going through at the nikfisk end

surely if water is being sent from the tap to the nilfisk end, the pressure of the water heading in to the nilfisk will be stopped by the aquastopper? unless the nilfisk does something to allow the water through the stopper?

thats why I had issues using the aquastopper at the nikfisk end I thought? either way I will buy another set and give it another go

C110 here and while it is reliable, it is weak and takes forever to blast down the whole car. Gets the job done but is only just enough, if you can afford a more powerful unit then do that.

Just what kind of dirt do you get where you live? :p

Never had an issue with lack of power on the C110, it's strong enough to blast clean paving slabs, so it's more than powerful enough to clean a car with.

Blimey, my C110 feels like it will take the paint off which is why I probably don't use it, that and the fact that I hate washing cars :)

Got som e £1 connectors from B&Q which have worked great, aquastop at the nilfisk end

I have so much road crap on my car at the moment,I had a quick blast with the included detergent bottle attachment and some generic car shampoo but didn't lift much

My next purchases will be a snowfoam lance (adjustable) and some valet pro pH neutral foam liquid,

Is this likely to do a decent job of getting off the road grime off with the upgraded snowfoam lance and liquid? whilst I wait till the weather gets better when I'll do the samez snowfoam but then clay, polish, wax?

Once that's all done I can then wash with pH neutral which won't effect wax

Got the E130 before Christmas.

Makes short work of cleaning the car, 1 pass using the tornado head and its spotless.
