My first guesses are that the core looks a little low for over 3GHz, you might find that if you want to go further then you have to up it slightly.

Have you manually set the ram voltage and timings?
Apart from the FSB have left everything on auto, and can only get to 346=3100 on latest prime
then it starts to get unstable,
I then started to up the vcore in small steps by following are overclockers guide to a point were i stopped @ 367fsb=3303 vcore1.38 to 1.40000 as this started to have no or very little effect raising my clock speed forgot to mention my Dram frequency changed from a ratio of 1.1to 5.6 all at 2T then back again,so i gather the board P5E its doing its job and overclocking my ram speed which was also left on Auto, so to summarize i have only tinkered with the FSB clock and raised the Core to a point were its having very little effect,am now sitting @3.303,
By the way i havent changed the Bios update as i beleive we are having with this board so still have the factory setting Bios 107
cheers and thanks again

What you want to do first is go into the bios and manually set the settings for the ram, the Crucial Ballistix is rated for 2.2v 5/5/5/15.

What I would imagine is happening is that the ram is still on auto and therefore only 1.8v. Once you have finished overclocking and are happy with an overclock then you can start lowering the memory voltage gradually, for example... my Ballistix are stable at 1140 with 2.0v.

My advice would be to set the ram settings manually and then try to raise the fsb again, the problem with having the ram on auto is that when you raise the fsb the memory gets raised too and if the ram is only at 1.8 at present then that's where I would guess the problem lies.

Agr3sive thanks for input mate, will have to have another bash later,I was under the impression my auto settings was giving it enough
