'Prince' Naseem jailed for car crash

Hopefully he'll have some time to reflect on what he's done and shrink his grossly inflated ego a bit. Still, the sentence hardly seems enough just for being such a arrogant, gobby little git, let alone nearly killing somone by driving like a loon.

Everyone else gets such a lenient punishment so why not him?

Hopefully he will lose some weight, and :( at the guy whose broken like all bones in his body :/

That poor guy he hit. Naseem is bloody well alright in his SLR, but normal people are the ones that get f-ed over. Like that guy who hit a lamp post in america, at 130mph in a Ferrari Enzo, him and his passenger walked away with a cut lip. I think he should be made to pay a load of compensation to that guy. I also can't help but feel a little sad from such a nice car being smashed up because of a stupid driver who is, lets face it, sh** at driving.

The best thing is if EVERY insurance company refused him insurance at whatever cost he could afford. That'll keep the idiot off the roads. Either that or perhaps Chris Eubank could be coming the other way in his truck instead of the Golf...

Truck 1-0 McLaren SLR
It's a knockout !

I am a bit gutted about all this myself.
The reactions are undertandable i suppose but lets be honest guys 90 in that motor is like 45 in most. Overtaking on the browe of a hill was his mistake but then of course i forgot knowone here makes mistakes do they.
I feel for those that got injured i really do but at least he would have been well insured unlike a lot of folk these days.
I hope those that got injured have suffered no long standing injurys.

Sidenote.
People in glass houses should not throw stones.

I'm sure we've all made mistakes when driving. But overtaking over a blind brow like that is not a mistake. It's a choice he made. he threw the dice and lost. The capabilities of the car don't come into it. He doesn't even have the excuse that it was a road he didn't know.
I've never overtaking someone over a brow of a hill or round a blind bend and i never will.

Most of us drive a bit foolishly sometimes, be it speeding or whatever so I do think some of the "burn him with fire" comments are a bit harsh.

Overtaking on a blind corner or dip however is plain idiotic and something I would never do.

The punishment was sufficient, he didn't deliberatly set out to hurt anyone, he was a tit, he got time which is never going to be fun.

I do think we should base fines on earnings though like other countries, that would hit these celebs a bit harder. Maybe have a fixed lower limits to stop chavs etc getting fined 50p of their dole money ;)

What will happen to his boxing license? I was always under the impression that you would lose your pro license if you had criminal convictions......even though tyson managed to box after his time. He might come out of there trained up and fit, ready to get back into the ring?

He's an arrogant **** who has no concern for anyone else on the road and deserves everything he gets. If he had an ounce of decency he'd be offering some of his millions to the poor guy he's crippled as compensation for ruining his life.

Don't talk rubbish. On the motorway prehaps, but on a bumpy residential road with blind brows and corners? Not a chance.

He deserves all he gets and more. He even fled the scene and then claimed it wasn't him driving for crying out loud.

I think by the time he gets released from Prison, he will be faced with another court case for damages inflicted to the innocent chap who he crashed into, and lets hope he really gets some punishment in his fat wallet
