PRO EVO 2008 demo market place

Hasn't it been confirmed that this is a build from July?

I don't get any slowdown/pauses during gameplay, which is weird.

Could it be because of the TV/connection people are using?

I did wonder that, because i havent had any slow down at all during gameplay and neither have many others, so its not *just* about the game itself.

Im using Official VGA @ 720P on a 32" Samsung LCD HDTV - No Slowdown

surely the connection and tv resolution shouldnt not be an issue in a console game?

anyway, im using component/composite (whatver the HD version is) 1080i or p whatever is the older 1080 res.

i do have a official VGA cable, but dont use it - would that be better on a HDTV than the above?

console gamers should not have to worry about the above - get game, put in and play ;)
 
Wouldn't matter i'm sure on the Tv and connection. I've tried mine using VGA and component on a Dell 2405 and a toshiba 32c030. On two different xbox's.

Personally I think its a hard drive issue. I'm going to borrow my nephews hard drive and see if his prefectly fine download of evo works ok on my screen/xbox.
 
It's not really 'slowdown' as such for me, as that would suggest a framerate issue. It really is more of a stutter. Like the game cuts out for a a fraction of a second and then cuts back in.

yeah, as i mentioned, on mine its when something 'big' is due to happen - set piece, goal etc - the game appears to think about whats going to happen before it does

IIRC You used to be able to do it by pushing the LT I think then RB. You need to change the attacking ratio of the team. In the old one you had to set it to manual.

The trouble with the old one is when you win the corner you then have to change the taker. Put the attack bar to full then change the Taker again. That way it then bought more players up for the corner. Hopefully you wont need to do that on the new one.

If you have attack/defence set to auto you are stuck with what you get. Change it to manual and play about with it.

Can you actually bring keepers up for corners?

That would be awesome. When playing on live I love trying to score with my keeper.

I have mentioned it a few times now but I'll say it again. I love how keepers charge out when you hold Y now. It used to do more harm than good but they come rushing out with purpose now, it's wicked :)
 
To bring players up for set pieces go

Formation settings > setplay settings > player to go up

then press A to change the player to attack. You can only select 3 players.
