Pro Evolution 2011

Got this for Christmas... I'm amazed how good it is? It's actually so much better than I was expecting and genuinely competitive with Fifa11 imo.

Master League online is just wierd though, just seems like a (not very fun) grind fest?
 
Google the Online Master League - it's rather wierd. Offline is fine, same old stuff that works, but online is just horrid.
 
Just got this for pc, assuming it's essentially the same game I've got to say my first impressions aren't great. I'm starting to wonder if they fluked the success with earlier versions. Ultimately I don't think that's the case, a run of 7 exceptional games starting with ISS Pro 98 pretty much proves at one point they knew what they were doing.

Now there's just so much that feels so obviously wrong with the game that I can't see how they will ever hit the heights of past games again. PES 2010 was the first Pro Evo I bought in a few years, and even that was only because I can never play FIFA for too long without getting bored. Yet 2011 still manages to end up being a step backwards from what was a fun yet highly flawed game.

Oh well, back to Pro Evo 3/4 I go.
 
I really really like this version of PES, I think it's so much better than PES10 it's scary and I genuinely think it's better than this year's Fifa which I just find thoroughly boring.
 
The only reason why I don't really like PES this year is because the dribbling is a bit poo... I tried to get used to it and I did give it a fair chance but I just couldn't get over the fact that when a player has the ball it looks as if the ball is on a stick, it's hard to describe. I love the passing, the shooting, most of the animations, it's just the dribbling that I find rubbish, and the fact that you can't seem to properly outpace players and even with the game speed turned up it feels unnecessarily slow, the sprinting animation is also absolutely laughable and it just makes the whole experience of dribbling the ball feel jerky, and like you're running through treacle. I also hated Fifa 11 on consoles though and I'm settling for Fifa 11 on PC this year which is basically World Cup 2010 with clubs.

I'm enjoying (offline) master league, you can pretty much sign anyone if you have loadsa money and one of the good scouts.

I thinking the same but other way around these option files killing me 4,907 files to copy across each on manually? Meh!

When you start getting into it then it should only take you about 20 minutes, it's a royal pain in the ass though I agree. I wish you could just select all and then copy them straight over, no idea why that option isn't included. :(
