Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - Official Thread

Thats a ridiculous thing to say, the 360 pad is absolutely fine for using with pro evo, to say its virtually unplayable is bordering on lunacy.

Many many people play quite happily with the 360 pad, i personally now prefer the 360 pad to the ps2 pads for pro evo.

He said the d-pad, which I agree with.

The pad itself is fine, if you use the sticks.
 
Hmm, I love playing Pro Evo Soccer 4 and I'm thinking of getting a 40GB PS3 just for PES 2008, am I mad?!

I mean Pro Evo Soccer 2008! :o

No. Pro Evo 4 is the best footie game ever. To me it's mad that people leave it behind for a worse game with better graphics and up to date players.

EDIT

Scratch that. You are mad, Pro Evo 4 won't work on the 40gb PS3. :p

Oops, I meant PES 2008! :o

I dunno but is people still playing PES 4 online?

Ha ok. I will sit back and see what they think of PES 2008 when it comes out. It got 10/10 for gameplay alone on IGN review, it must be that special to deserves more than 9! :eek: :D
 
A lot of people do still like it, it's all down to personal opinion really, mine being that it's not even half the game 4 was.

I do wonder how good the reviews would be for the same game without the Pro Evo name behind it.
 
True. But I'd still take sitting away from a TV and being able to take it around my friends more than sitting at a computer desk into (for most people) small monitor.
