Obviously they prioritise there work into making the game enjoyable playing wise? Which is why everyone buys the game..To play football.

I couldn't care for snazzy menu's and popular music as long as the gameplay is good I'm happy.

Agreed!

I dont really care graphically, I just want more things added to make the experience that moer pleasurable.

I have just started playing Pro Evo 6 again and Im loving it!!

I'm not expecting too much from this (In relation to the best versions of Pro Evo).

I've all but accepted they probably aren't going to ever top 4, to the point where I actually went out and rebought the PS2 versions of 2, 3 and 4 as they work on the PS3.

Although I've said 2 is behind only 4 as the best version ever, it really has not aged well at all. Anyone who has fond memories of this as I have, I suggest never going back to it.

3 is a lot better than I remember, maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance at the time as it was quite a departure from 2, either way the overall gameplay in 3 far exceeds that found in the last 2 versions. One thing I've noticed is that the shooting in 3 is really good, possibly better than the shooting in 4 even.

4 however is still the daddy, no other footie game comes close to it, certainly nothing outside of the Pro Evo series.

I really can't recommend 4 highly enough, anyone who got into the series afterwards would be doing themselves a huge favour to at least go and buy 4, if not 3 as well. I got 2, 3 and 4 for a grand total of £3.97. For all those like me who naturally move on every year so haven't played those versions for a while, go buy it as well, it really is as good as you rememeber it, and in 3's case better.

If Pro Evo 7 is good enough to make me stop playing 3 and 4 then I'll be delighted, but I'm not expecting it and after the last two versions I'm no longer moving on for the sake of it and giving up one of the best games ever for a newer, inferior version.

Theres so much they need to fix:

Refs, the cpu hardly ever gets cards, its obscenely biased.

Headers, just a rubbish system at the moment, seems pot luck whether you win them and whether they go in.

Crosses, i want a power bar, shouldn't just be short or long, also more control over how far from the keeper the cross go's.

Free kicks, again im sure this can be improved.

Let me save replays

let me watch a replay after the ball has gone out of play, its so annoying to watch a shot go wide and it give a goalkick, you go to watch the replay and you can't anymore why?!?!?

I knew there was a reason Ronaldo was on the front cover :p

I just want a better master league. The rest I dont really care about. I mainly play master league.
Same here.

has pro-evo started outselling fifa yet, or are the mass population still more concerned over having correct player names and graphics rather than gameplay?

ive played some scary people on PES6 online.

you think you cant score long rangers on this game? your wrong.

one guy was england and just absolutely TAITERED me with 40 yard goals from owen and rooney. left me with no chance.
I've played Pro Evo 6 a lot online and at home with mates.

I've seen 1 goal that was roughly 40 yards and it only went in because my keeper had come off his line slightly.

How he scored more than 1 in a game is beyond me.

i'd put my house that you're playing the 360 version of PES6? On the 360 version u can't score long range, but on the PS2/PC one its easy.

yeah i always found the ps2 one far too easy to score long range, the 360 one is a lot better in that respect, they're a rarity as they should be.

Yeah I am, maybe the "x360" link in my sig helped you? :p

Would probably explain why my mate said he scored a free kick with Adriano from just over the half way line... he was on PS2. (Was one of those 2 player, 1 knocks it and other blasts it free kicks).

If Adriano is unchallenged from 20-25 yards he has a very high success rate, probably something like 40%.

I go through fazes of scoring long shot goals on the 360 (and no not with Adriano, I dont even play teams that use him)

Pirlo,Totti,Villa,Zidane and Rooney and Owen have all been good for me. Owen is the only player I have scored an overhead kick with, and it was on the edge of the box, a cracker.

You can score long shots on the 360

This guy has mastered it with Sheva!!!

have a look!!

Some nice goals, though it's pretty obvious he's playing on level 2 at the most.

Nah, it seems like its online. You can see the spinning logo in the corner on a lot of the replays i.e when someone has left the game after its finished.

Its still not as good as it should be to be honest, we only buy it because there isnt really all that much choice, fifa isnt exactly an option is it.

Hope its a bit better this time anyways, sometimes it just really lacks the fun factor... When my mates are round sometimes we wind up playing iss64, master system super kick off, mega drive italia 90.
They all have the fun factor :)
