Probability of Death !

So ever wondered, what's the chances you're gonna make it through the next 10yrs?

But what are the actual mortality stats for males living in the Western World?

Say for example, males aged 20-30 99% will make it from 20 to 30yrs old.. However of that 1% 80% will die due to accidental death, the other 20% due to illness.

What are the actual real numbers? Just curious.. umm now I'm hitting 40 :D

I know, and I'm not someone who's gonna sit there and worry about death. But its good to know some hard stats on how resilient the body actually is..

Say 50-60yr olds I reckon 5% will die, out that 5% 80% is probably due to illness

Whereas 20-30yr olds, only 2% will die, but out of that 2% 80% is probably due to accidental..

All guesses mind..
 
So in all seriousness no-one has any stats then or knows of a webpage that gives us this info?

Is there a reason for that? Each death is very well documented.
 
Friday night and you are thinking of this?

It does frighten me when I think how people die all of a sudden or within the a few weeks there life is turned upside down :(
 
The way I see it i'm not going to know/care that i'm dead when I die, so I don't care when I die. That's probably a bad attitude to have but the upside is that I never get depressed wondering how/when/where/etc. i'm going to die, and just get on with life.
 
This is the main reason I cant be bothered to be healthy. Why spend your life straining over exercise, eating food that is not that great?

Everyone will be dead in 10 years time anyway,we will all die of hunger and freeze to death as we can't afford our heating anymore:(.

Sounds negative but very possible if this country and the rest of world carry on the way they are:(
