Problem with bsods since fitting new MObo & CPU (more detailed)

they seem to offer the best speeds/value for the money, and I don't see why it wont work with your board, works fine on asus/gigabyte z97/87

Ok I might order some of that but if I do it means im stuck with this stuff untill at least next month untill i can RMA it - will speak to a friend about it first to see what he thinks first

do the heatsinks on that memory stick out above the actuall ram stick itself or is it normal sized ?

they don't stick out on the Vulcan ones, the black heatsink ones do stick out

wont your friend lend you his ram? that's if its 4gb sticks

Ok I have bookmarked that recomendation for ram

but is that ram is the normal standard size even with the heatsinks on its not any taller then normal ?

and it is 2133 not 2400mhz unless I got something wrong but better then what I currently have either way

Ok I will talk to my friend again he originally said to not bother my stuff is fine
(still might be)

but even he said So low profile 2x4 then 1866

was going to chat to him tonight but I think he may of gone to bed so will chat to him in morning before I ask if he can come over & pull pc parts out for RMA

still got no idea what problem is or if this will even solve it

anyone else care to chime in & offer some advice or opinions ?

Looking good so far after a admin from msi forums gave me the 1.4b2 bios to try watched a hour long video in 1080p full screen no bsods and played arkham origins for nearly a hour no bsods off to a good start but to early to say yet could still go wrong.... Only Hicup I had was a freeze of pc when I told it to shut down

did you tell the msi rep again?

it is more stable now with the newer bios but not fully, shows its poor support for that make/model of ram imo

Ok I have ordered some new ram lets hope it works http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-033-TG&tool=3

Ive asked over the phone if it should work with my board and chip and they said it should do or be ok etc sounded like they knew what they was talking about

the height of the ram doesn't look bigger then standard ram and if it sticks out more it should not matter those 2 sticks will be equall to the the amount of ram I have at the moment just take up less slots :-)

might have it tommorow or thursday

then I can at least eliminate the ram if problems still persist with this stuff

then will eventually look at PSU next if no luck then
