Got it about a week ago from OCUK and am using it for my programming and to store eclipse for in college. Been using it on 2.0 slots no problems up until now.
Plugged it into the computer in college and it didnt register as being there.
Tried it on a different computer and it installed the drivers but didnt appear on the my computer section.
So i just tried it on my own laptop at home and it says it needs to format the drive. Thats alright as i have all the data backed up anyway.
So i clicked format drive. And it says it write protected. No i havent plugged it in since last thursday and no one else has used it to my knowledge, so how could it decide it wants to be write protected all of a sudden??
Any ideas or help welcome cos as i said i do have all the data apart from eclipse backed up so im not worried in that sense but i need it for getting data from college to home
