ive tried the cmos reset (with the little round battery right?) but still no luck

Meant to say did you try with the power switched off, might be easier to try the CMOS reset header - the manual will show location of this, you just short the pins with a screwdriver.

Can you try with just one memory module and do you have the possibility of checking the card in another pc.

I assume you have all power connections connected to the card as well.
