Problem with OC settings

Hi, I have a problem with my OC settings - the Multiplier that I choose in the BIOS is not being applied when Windows boots. I select multi of 44, yet CPU-Z tells me that the multi is 45. Because the vCore is being applied correctly I keep getting BSODs on login due to 1.24v not being anywhere near enough to satisfy 4500MHz on my chip.

I am on the latest BIOS for my board (1805) and have tried loading other OC profiles and 'Optimised Defaults' as well as only changing settings from a cold-boot. This problem started with BIOS version 1708

Does anybody know what might be causing this issue and how to fix it?
The only thing I can think of is re-flashing the BIOS.

If it aint broke dont fix it!!! If your system is stable with certain bios leave it on that!!

Reset Bios, Role back to prev version that worked well and try again.

The latest is not always the best for your system. If your PC is stable and you dont need a specific new feature a bios offers just leave it and dont take a chance.

I am glade a reflash has sorted this problem.
