so i press F1 and the pc fines fine afterward any ideas on how to fix this problem?

thanks

Looks like something is wrong with the floppy disk drive. Do you still use it? If not, just unplug it and take it out.

In the standard Cmos settings there is an option for the floppy, older systems required that the floppy be operational, you should be able just to deselect the seek floppy option or no error on floppy fail or similar.

andy.

Try unplugging them all, and see if it appears with no drives actually plugged in, and make sure it doesn't think theres a floppy drive in your system! :)

I doubt it, as said, try disabling floppy in BIOS, or put it behind the system drive in the boot order menu and see if that resolves it.

The error message suggests its trying to boot from floppy and then having a tantrum when it can't find one.
