sorry to ask this as it is probably the stupidest question in the world but how to i get my remote to work, the only instructions with it were
1, insert batteries
2,connect usb reciever
3,turn on ps3,
ive tried registering it on the ps3's bd remote registering in the accessory settings but i cant get it to work,

any help rendered will be greatly appreciated

What does BD stand for?

If it is bluetooth it shouldn't need a USB reciever. Unplug that and try registering it then.

It sounds like he has a different remote to the official one.
If so I presume it uses IR via the USB dongle rather than bluetooth that the official remote uses.
OP, I hope you didn't pay a lot for that remote because the official one can be picked up for £17.

Don't suppose you fancy whacking it in your pc and seeing what happens, would be perfect for my HTPC, but have found no evidence of it working on a PC.
