Prodigy Build Check

puma knight what did you end up ordering? looking to do something similar, SLI rig but I'm now concerned about the air flow and whether I can fit an 850w psi in the case and where it exhausts its hot air to. I love the look or the prodigy M but also now considering the corsair 350D case.

Please tell me how you get on and what temps everything runs at

cheers

Ian

Will do. I went with a BeQuiet 730w as it was 150mm and covered the power for SLI. I also went for a water cooled setup on the CPU. As soon as I have it set up, I will let you know how it goes on temps and airflow.

asus gryphon z87

as for graphics card, I've got an old 4870 I'm going to replace - I certainly won't be buying top of the range / SLI etc, but with so many posts focused on the length of the PSU (the one I'm after is defo 160 - seasonic G 550w), I am getting concerned with 1 GFX and 240mm Rad at the top.

A single GPU and a h100 (240mm rad) should work fine. Thats the picture bitfenix used to promote the case..

Remember you'll have to sacrifice the optical drive.

Aye but in conjunction with a 160mm PSU? Plus wasn't sure of the make / model of PSU, radiator and gfx! Thanks

From what I have seen the 160mm does fit with most single GPU cards, as long as the mobo gives clearance. Best thing to do is spec the length of your new GPU to be sure. If it is below 11.5 inches, then 160mm will be a squeeze but should be fine.

I am happy to give it a measure for you in my case if you send me the dimensions - not fool proof but at least give you some idea.
