[PROJECT] Airbrushed 'Bioshock' TJ-07

Just been looking for advice on a new case and found this thread. Just spent the last 45 mins reading every post by members and yourself. Words fail me to be honest. Your skills defy your age you seem to have at least 30 years expeience and you're only 20?? OMG!! What age did you start...4? Drawing/painting on paper is one thing but airbrushing is in a whole different league, I've seen enuf episodes of American Chopper to realise that! I'm gobsmacked... What's next..you gonna risk the Crysis case? (fingers crossd you are)

Hey R B, great work. Case is looking awesome.

Im currently spraypainting a snowboard and I was wondering what you were using to do your stencils. Is it some kind of see through plastic with a light adhesive on? I was thinking of using a large sheet of somthing like the white sticky lables ppl use as name tags etc.

Moar!

Whats next? The Crysis themed one you mentioned?

Clear coat is next mate...
then crysis
Hold your horses!

Saffye, If you are going to use the board, i wouldn’t recommend it !

the masking film i use is known as frisket film. It is similar to sticky back plastic. Don’t use sticky back plastic lol!
Frisket film is a low tack film which you can cut masks out of and it is great for airbrushing with.

An alternative is just just use good ol' low tack masking tape. and cut what ever you want out of that.

Don't use the 'sticker' material that name badges are made from. It's too porous, too sticky and will just make one big mess!

The case looks awe inspiring although one thing bugs me! the 120mm triple bay dose'nt go well with the styling of the case imho.

Looks great:cool: I really like what you,ve done...Look forward to seeing it cleared :)

My only comment would be I think the RB customs logo inside is too in your face and ruins some of the lovely rust effect you did ...I think smaller or more subtle would be better .
