Real shame about the 290x I feel your pain :( Other than that its a lovely build you should be proud .. or will be ;)
 
I know it was painfull :( doesnt help im dieing form the flu.

Okay so here is where I am for now guys.

Got an 8800gt in (lol and doing a little led strip testing.

Tell me what you guys think? I might get rid and buy some cathodes i dunno or maybe go over those 4 leds near the rear fan with a perm marker lol.

One is brighter then the other ( keep in mind builds not finished awaiting new graphics card and then block lol also need to install top rad.

Great news on getting the Ti instead :) did you get free shipping with it atleast for all the inconvenience?

As for the Leds, im never a fan of leds where you can actually see led itself, i much prefer it when they are out of sight and only the glow can be seen - Adam

I agree :( also yes I did but I get free shipping all the time :p

The only reason you can see those 4 is i had to take a route around the 140 lol.

Ill leave them in for now and il order something a little bit better then this strip of leds.

I put the led controler in the rear of the case because if i had mounted it in one of the pci expansion brackets it would have looked ugly requiring a molex to come through the tray and out to meet it pfft.

NZXT really thought about that one lol.
 
:P One thing ive just realised is it requires 2x8pins and I only have 1x 8pin braided.

Oh well :p build is not finished untill the waterblock for this arrives anyway hehe so the 780 can sit in there and look ugly :p.

Oh btw Nick It worked straight away lol!
 
Yeah just waiting for them to receive the 780 Ti -

The 290x is being processed now so I should receive a refund off that and then the 780ti aswell.

I will be purchasing 2x 290s with waterblocks seperate to fit myself.

So im looking at about a week until those arrive after two RMA's have been purchased.

Heres hoping they arrive and I dont get any black screens!
 
Well I should be getting mine in a week and I can tell you if i have any problems.

I dont think the 290's will have the same problems.

Im still worried about the black screening.
 
Would love a 540 but the bottom of that case look dreadful.

Why did they think putting the 3.5" bays there was a good idea?

Looks great otherwise.

Little update after sending the 780 ti back Ive now received 2x 290's :P.

Put them in for a little test I ended up putting them close together as thats how they will be once the blocks are installed.
