PROJECT: BLACK

Looks very nice Matt100 as per usual with your wc'd systems! :D

Really like the contrast between the two colours, as mentioned many times before!

wow that looks fantastic. very well done mate :)

edit: i dont know anything about water cooling but roughly how much does a decent kit cost. i imagine there not cheap.

2 x 120.1 £90
1 ek gfx £80
1 ek cpu £30
2 x pump £100
2 x res £30
tubing £15
fans £30
total £375

that sort of cost.. very quick guesstimate. Blimey.. thats expensive! Mind you, that could easily be chopped in half(ish)..

maze 4 gfx, 1 rad, no res, 1 pump, half the tubing so I wouldn't let £400 put you off.

verry well done, thats brilliant.

im thinking of doing a water cooling modded case.

iv been designing crazy ideas like building a radiator station with ten 3x120 radiators. but not got the cash to go through with it :P

Or just use a radiator from a car???

Nice work aswell Matt. Looks brilliant

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this would be completely pointless due to the fact that you'll never get below room temps unless you use a chiller.

10 radiators would most likely cause a little bit of flow restriction :p

very nice mod, painting the inside of a case makes such a huge difference, my next mod will 100% have painted internals.

insides are very clean for the complexity of the loops, all that hard work does pay off in the end...

only thing for me that I'd have liked to see would be individual holes for each pipe coming out of the lid of the case rather than one big one (would have been tricky but a little neater imo)

otherwise excellent stuff. :)

this is all true. but i had it all planned :) cause the room temp is about 5c lol, and my cpu temp is 20c on air, i would love to get it down to room temp.

allso having a lot of rads, some rads linked to different pumps aka a different flow system all together for some different parts. aka like one 3x120 rad for cpu, and another for gfx etc, would cool verry good.

but ahwell not got the cash :D

Indeed - That makes a massive difference to the overall look IMHO.

Looking very swish - As said - Liking the Blue/Red combo.
(Like, actually red. :p Suppose it's like 'red' CC's - They are ALL pink)

Top job, and the temps speak for themselves. :)

just a bit of an update, with the house quite hot the temps have settled at mid 30s idle with the fans almost off and 1.45vcore. I'm considering adding another fan to the cpu loop to make it push/pull.

Secondly the pump noise isn't totally gone, I'm half planning to swap the pump out but that would be a leaky red mess of towels and kitchen roll. One for the weekend then :D

You might want to try sealing the gaps between rad and fan first mate.

From the looks of the pics, I can see rad fins = not a good thing.

:D :D :D

no I've done that before and its made almost no difference, tbh the push pull wouldn't probably change much either, I mean how low can the temps actually go if my house is as warm as it is now (I'd guess mid 20s).

main reason for push pull would be to put a red led fan behind the front grill :D

quick update, I went for push pull on the front, and removed a fan grill I put behind the front grill and now the cpu is sitting idle at 35 and loads to about 50.

I can live with that! (and i got my nice blue fan on the front of the pc)

here you go!
