PROJECT: BLACK

Looks awesome mate! these are definetly one of my favorite cases and my next one to. You should give lian Li pics of yours and see if they would consider blacking the inside out as it looks top notch. Awesome job and also do all the PC7+ come with the 120mm fan witht he blue LEDS in the front?

ah nevermind ive just read that you added the Blue fan..which one is it? is it quite and how much did it cost?

thanks Ryan

its an akasa blue fan, I think it was about £10 but I've had it ages.. very quiet, I use akasa fans when I want colour ones because you can get them with 3 pin tails so I can put them in my fan controller.

Hey matt,

I dont usually c=post in the case forum because i never feel the need to, however that case is truely amazing, do you have MSN or Aim i could talk on? Id really like to do something similar to mine :)

What dye did you use for your blue? I can only seem to find UV reactive dyes around, but I just want a blue without having UV lights?

its blue UV but not the invisible blue, its dark blue uv dye so you see it without the lights. Can't link you up but its easy enough to find

Pentosin G11 will give you a nice blue colour. Thats if you can find it in the uk that is.

What temps do you have the GX2 running at now? I'd be real interested incase i chose to upgrade from my zalman fatal1ty's to watercooling!

cheers!

it idles at about 35, loads to about 50 although to be fair I rarely get the chance to put it under constant sustained load so that might go up a bit but that is with the 1 fan on the gpu rad basically off (5v).

Thats also permanently at 645/1500 :p

sorry to bring this topic back up again but over the summer hols im going to be doing a project like this with a pc-7, what tools did you use to create the tube passout on the top of the case, i have a pc-7 also.

im not starting it for about a month so i wont be needing it for a while but i need it fresh in my mind, maybe add you to msn or something.

don't get on msn too often tbh, all I used for the top was a dremel and some files then covered the edges with blowhole trim

cheers for the response, i wont be going for 2x120 rads and 2 res, just the 1 240 and 1 res to keep it simple for my first set up as i intend on only cooling the cpu.
