More delivery's this morning.

More fans. i think these are the last.

Then what i hope is my last 775 cpu.

DSC00113.jpg

Anyway had to have a test to see if it all worked and shes finally running kinda. Both cards are in the loop but the CPU is still air cooled untill i fit this other rad but its not leaking so thats a start. Gotta a lot of modding to do to get this all to fit with the sides closed and sort the cables out...

Update

Although its kinda running i wanna get the cpu underwater as this stock intel fan thing is a pos. I need a last few fittings along with some UV strips and some more cutting before i can totally finish but i think i have my loop pretty planned out.

First though a little modding is needed to the RS120 as its 1mm-2mm bigger than i thought. That dont sound a lot but thats how tight a fit it is. I really need a dremel and for my next build i definitely will buy one but for now im going to have to use my 4" grinder.

This would be a lot easier with a grinding disc but i dont have one so....

As a 120mm fan fits perfect where i want this to go i bolted one either side as a guide, so when i started cutting fan that was deep enough.

lol i know its not pretty iv given it a little rub with some wet and dry for about 2 mins so atleast i tried? Anyway its not to be seen so with a little paint its looks ok.

That's actually very well done dude, obviously it could have been made perfect by a thorough sand, but probably not worth the effort, as you say, it's out of sight...

Cheers for the acknowledgement dude! Always glad to be a help =)

im completely won over by this to go ahead and do a similar project.

now im completely new to watercooling and i'll probably purchase pretty much the same setups for my project. I just need to understand what the top fill port is for. Does it only get used during the initial setup or will the bottle be on top constantly?

Bit of a silly question but i had to ask.

Im only looking to use a single card...would i require a second small rad like yours?

only used during filling up the loop. After that you can take the barb out and cap it, so its "flush" looking.

what a forum is for :D

depends if you want to water the card or not. I currently have a v350 with just a cpu cooled on a 120.2 rad (the big one). And if i upgrade my 8800gts to a 4870 ill get a silent edition one. Completly up to you if you want to include the gfx in one loop with the cpu. I wouldnt think youd need a second rad for one gfx though.

Update.

Well my rig has been running but half finished for a week or 2 now but i have been waiting for some bits to come before i pull it apart for the final time before i do some final case cuts and sorting the cables. Anyway will be updating over the next few days with the progress but had a few little delivery's today.

A load of braid for all the fans.
The final fan, it feels i have loads even though its fully watercooled but i had a little room left so thought why not. As its going to be seen iv gone for a Orange yate loon to match the theme.
Also some extra bolts for my rad and some more 90 degree fittings.

Oh and some X-Swing hdd vibration dampers.
