Project Citrus.

Good job, it looks fantastic - amazed you got it all in, tight sweeze. People come along lilke me and post a project we are doing and it goes along and looks ok, and if we are lucky at the end looks great, but never this well done.
I'd like to see V|per's finished now aswell. :D

good work - very interesting thread and a great result!

got any benchies we could have a look at?

idk what its cost me really. watercooling alone was £350 so i guess a little over £1500.

Benches: E8600 @ 4.4Ghz. 4870 CF @ 790/1100.

Ocing seems fine yet very complicated. These boards are known to hit 600 fsb but i haven't tried. My temps arnt great underload so i dont wanna push too much voltage through the cpu.

3Dmark06

Vantage

Will have a update soon. ;)

thats a pleasing score on both tests imo
much better than my rig [jealous...:)]

i know what you mean about running the voltage - as long as it runs ok for what you use it for then you have a respectable OC and some great looking hardware

I'd like to see V|per's finished now aswell. :D

good luck with that =|

Infact, i might be able to wing a few parts to complete it, but i'm propper busy at the moment, just this minute got the internets in my new place.

Nice to see you got it finished dude, actually quite like the colour combination. Keep up the good work!

Update.

Got a few bits in the post. First i had a new side panel made up with mirrored plexi side window and the dvd holes removed.

Also the colors of my keyboard were kinda grinding against all my other bits so got a G15 V2 to match the theme.

Finally ordered a new montior as my old 19" dell just wasnt cutting it for the rest of my rig. Ordered yesterday morning and it just got delivered at 10am today.

First impressions is wow its big, and i have no dead or stuck pixels that iv noticed. The viewing angles are very good. Its very light and you can tell its not the most expensive screen by the stand but first impressions of the panel its very good. Its nice to have little speakers which my old one didnt. The surround is a nice gloss black which matches my Samsung TV and desk so all round i am very glad i brought it and its well worth the small £200 price tag.
