This is my physics project

Get a golf ball as far as you can

me and some chums, went for an air cannon, so i asked my dad, for an air tank, and he comes back with an air tank which are used on airliners for storing emergency air, they are rated at 3000psi, which is good and safe, we were aiming for 60-100psi. We saw in the interwebs that a man made one and took it up to 95psi, he got something to travel over 2 football field widths (about 200ft :eek:

At 100psi it fired the golf ball over 100meters.

You'll probably want a butterfly valve and some copper tubing... pretty much all you'll need I think

It's probably going to be the best way to do it though, get yourself a driver and WHAM!

Does the golf ball have to travel itself or can it travel in or on something? Could just roll one on a train to Glasgow!

Me and my uni mates were down the local abandoned factories last night with a potato gun. Had a nice little fire going backed by the occasional "thump" as a potato flew through the decaying roof.

Might go there again tonight. Reminds me of being 12 again and going exploring with friends, except we have no bedtime now.
