Hello again, This project is a rebuild of my current colossus build. I have removed the hard drive tray so I can fit another 240mm rad at the bottom to go with the 240 rad at the top. I have also purchased a new res. I am also changing the colour scheme but i will keep that part a secret for the time being!. So here comes the pictures of what i have done so far. :)

Here is the bare chassis with the hard drive tray removed. It makes the case look even bigger I think.

I had to drill a couple of holes in the front of the case so i could fix the rad to the front with the radiator grill.

New res, gpu backplate and cpu block fitted. I think the res is a thing of beauty!

I already have the tubing and fluid purchased (colour to be revealed later). I am just waiting on my new radiator to arrive tommorow then I will have all the gear i need. I think i am going to buy some new compression fittings, i currently have the black dark nickle xspc fittings but they are not dark enough. So i think i am going to buy some of the matt black EK fittings and sell the ones i currently have.

Hope you like the look of the project so far.

Tony

Looking good so far :) Interested to know the colour scheme you will be going for. From your last comment I guess black / dark grey is one colour, I guess the other is blue to match the motherboard highlights.

good job so far ;)

Thanks, got my 2nd rad fitted last night and have planned the loop order. To make the tubing as neat as possible i am going with the following order

Res-Rad-pump-gpu-rad-cpu-res.

I know you shoud go from res to pump but the tubing is too tight if i do it that way and the pump top i have has a 100ml res built into it so the pump will never run dry.

I have had my new fittings deliverd today so should finish the build off tonight

Not going to be blue as ive used that colour in my aqua skeleton build and Unfortunatley i have to cope with the blue bits on the mobo, wish i could paint them. The cables will either be just black or black and silver will decide when i get all the tubing set up.

That looks really good :) Any plans to add more green into it or will it be just the liquid. For the motherboard heat sinks, instead of painting could you not put something on it instead (think like the carbon wrap but green instead) It would be very fidly to do, especially now it is set up, but thinking it would be easy to remove if you need to rma in the future.

As for the camera, what camera have you got? If you have manual settings, I would say best set up would be a darkerned room, with exposure set up for the colour and light of the tubing. Should mean your uv parts aren't over exposed and the rest of the case is darkened, highlighting uv more.

Cheers, i have some lime green cable exstensions, but it then makes the green a bit overpowering, not sure if i like the silver exstnsions i have all black cables so might just use them.

Thanks for the camera advice i will give it a go later

It is safe to say i've had a nightmare this evening, finished installing my hard drives and my new fan controller, go to boot my pc and get a "no boot drive available" so I do the usual troubleshooting and it still doest even show up in the bios, this is the case for my ssd and hdd. Tried them in other pc and hdd caddys and they wont even power on so looks like my mobo has wiped my 2 drives gutted!!, i plugged in my spare hdd and it boots fine so I have no idea what has gone wrong just that i've lost loads of data!!!

If anyone has had this or knows away to get data of hard drives that don't turn on please let me know, as i need my mass effect saves back. Anyway end of rant.

Here are some pics of the rig with the UV, not perfect pictures i will get some better ones over the weekend but these will do for starters.
