So had some time today.

Blocked up the Titans

Then because of adding in an extra card, we needed to re-do some of the loop.

So nice long run that looks a little nicer and tucked further to the back of the desk.

Replacing the Mobo block that came with the VI Formula as it was causing corruption.

Now its running through Blitz Pro cleaning.
So it will be like this for the next 24 hours.

To be fair its pretty easy, just need some patience.

Some stuff if you have any build-up is just to take it off (like my cpu block) and used toothbrush and some soapy water.

This is my first loop, and I've really enjoyed getting into it and learning about it.
Thats all you need to do is just read up and you will be styling.

Actually doing it isn't that hard.
Just when you plan your loop try to stick a drain line in and makes your job even easier.
Also think about your fill ports.
As my tubes really should be horizontal its quite difficult to fill them.
But I have found a way to hold them horizontal and fill and put them back down.

If you were using a standard PC case it would be so much easier.

So after doing a thorough cleaning.
Drained original pastel out.
Pushed some DI water through.
Ran Blitz cleaning for 14 hours or so.
Took off CPU block, cleaned with toothbrush.
Ran new pipework.
Cleaned with Blitz again for another 24 hours.
Ran DI water through for about an hour.
Drained and repeated for 3 times total.
Then filled up and ready to go! (There goes the weekend!)

Filled up with DI, now adding in dye

So a few things to note.

My first install had the anti-cyclone plate on the opposite side to the pump and this didnt work well.
But swapping the tube around with the anti-cyclone plate just before the pump it works miles better.

Secondly, this weekend I moved the tubes around so that you can see a fill port right at the top.

As you can see, I have turned both tubes to have the silver stop cap facing the top.
This way I could fully fill the res.
The first few times I was holding them as upright as possible but this left a lot of air in the tubes.

With the stop ports at the top I can get them almost 100% full, and if I really wanted to I could full them pretty much 100%.

Only thing to note is to have a drain line.
With them being so full there is no much in the way of opening them to drain.

I have a drain line, top right of that pic.
So I just attach a hose and turn on the pumps.

This pushes most of the water out and gives you a lot of room to play with to get the rest out.

All in all running the tube Res horizontally was pretty easy in the end.

But like I say it did take me 2 or 3 mounts to figure out basics.
But now you know :)

Thanks bud :)
Although I wish they were blacks, they are just the regular old Titans.

But I will still be getting a 4K G-Sync monitor when they are more available.

I'd never get anything done using this computer I'd be too busy staring at it in wonderment. That dye you added looks the dogs.

You must have a good way to bleed the air, I'm trying to imagine you shaking this whole thing around and turning it upside down lol.

Honestly, it bleeds really well.
Few on and offs of the pumps, regulate the speed, on and off and its pretty good.
Run it for a few hours, on and off again.

Tapping on the rads and blocks and its all good.

And ye I did find myself sitting there just staring at the tubes with the lights off just watching those small bubbles in the top.
Reminds me of a spirit level :)

So 20/10/2015 I've done a whole refresh of just about everything :D

Basically what happened was my PSU died so at first I wasn't sure what it was.
I managed to get hold of some DDR4 from Corsair, and a new PSU.

So I decided to take the time to re-do some of the pipes and include a drainage port, as the one at the top was obviously too high up.

So got a new mobo (VIII Hero Z170) new cpu (i7 6700K) and new GPU's (2x Titan X's).

So its time to go to work and re-build!
