loving the backlit motherboard. looks like the cover of a horror/sci-fi dvd where something nasty is about to come through a door. personally i'd have no other lights in the system other than the backlighting, just to exagerate that feature. but then again i'm more than twice your age and wouldn't nearly have the know how to attempt what you're doing. kudos to you my man
I've got some news for you.
Because my 2900Xt doesn't work anymore I've bought a new graphics card.
It's an 4870 with an GPU-X2 Heatkiller.
I hope the card comes at friday so that I can install it at the weekend.
Last monday my 4870 arrived.
And yesterday I could build it in and test it.
here are some pictures:
The gpu temprature is very nice (30°C) but the voltageconverter reach 100+°C.
Because of this I installed a fan on the cooler to get tempratures <100°C.
Until now i reached 900mhz for the chip and 1250mhz memory clock at 1.625V.
