This is a project log that I probably should have made when I first started building my PC. But oh well here we go,
I am using the Z77 chipset for this build which I hope lasts me a good 5 or so years (with a few minor changes here and the obviously) The build is primarily black and red themed (quite a lot to change for this to actually happen as you will see in the pic's below)
So the parts I currently have are:
Motherboard: Asrock extreme6
CPU: i7 3770k @ 4.5Ghz
Heatsink: Alpenfohn K2
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB LP @ 1600mhz 9-9-9-24
Case: CM Storm Trooper
PSU: Corsair AX750 Proffessional
SSD: Crucial M4 128GB
GPU: GT 240 (sigh)
(Pretty much what's in my sig ahah)
So currently I am running on air but soon I will be starting my first custom loop (woohoo!) and this is what I plan to put in it (with a new GPU and monitor to go with the rest of my shiny build):
