Project Helca Yár

Don't worry my younger brother managed it. Ill just need to heat it up when it comes to build day. Hit a bit of a snag... Seems one of the screws for my waterblocks backplate came with a bit of a manufacturing fault.. Guess Ill need to email Koolance about that :/

And finally... Got home from work and got to do somethings (at least) :p here's a pic... not great but you can see my 670 has the block on and I've put the CPU block on finally :D

I'm putting the res in the 5.25" bays once I get the modifications I need made to the side parts of the bay area. Which will be monday. Going to flush my rads tomorrow and get them + the fans installed. Then almost finished... will be missing 1 compression fitting... hope OCUk get stock soon.

Indeed! need my last fitting and then it'll all be together! Getting some LED's and modding my case a little to mount my Pump + res but it should be quite a decent build :)

So here it is with the rads in! (need some more compressions now... there goes another 10-20 quid but oh well :/)

got some major re-organising to do with all my cable tidying. res + pump should be fitted by tuesday then I have to sort all the tubing lengths out... and finally leak test (hoping that theres no leaks when I attempted to flush my rads using my pump a couple of the fittings were leaking... and no matter what I did they wouldn't stop :c)

Ahah. well for some reason... I've hand tightened them as far as possible and she reckoned they had to go further so she got the pliers and completely stripped the paint and scratched the hell out of one of them. Atm I have two that are still on tubing that I can't undo and Idk why :/ ordered 8 more from EK gg to 30 quid D:

They are out of stock unfortunately as well mate D: btw 2x 120 fans do fit on the inside. :p I had a little issue with a bit on top that holds the filter in for trying to have one in pull outside the case. Tight fit though with a full rad.

That would work. But take the top part off and have a look at the bits that hold the filter in. They obstruct a fan if you try to put one in pull on top. (at least they way I tried to do it.)

Strange maybe I was trying to put it on wrongly. Doesn't matter too much now though. Will be fitting my res tonight and sorting out the platform for my pump to sit on soonish. Still have to find somewhere with the compressions I need. :/

And after quite an antagonizing wait.. I finally have all the compresssions I need.. so started putting it all together today. Just need to get the other end off the res so I can move the central tube... But it doesn't seem to want to budge :/

No idea Jay yet to actually get my system going. I need some rotary fittings (grr) and itll be done. Yeah it is pgi, suppose Ill have to get some damn tools now xD also entirely fill my res or leave air space?

Been dead busy with Uni lately! And spending time not working on my build! Going to get everything but the res sorted this weekend. Get the things to take the top of the res off. Then leak test it. Its been a very long build and I do apologise to anyone patiently hanging around.

im interested in doing a bit of watercooling, was thinking about just improvising with some copper pipe i can get from work (im a plumber), id need the unit ofcourse to do the cooling but i guess i could figure out my own method of distribution.

Watercooling started out with improvised plumbing pipes. So long as everything matches up metal wise. Wouldn't want galvanized whats it called again... lol
