Project Log: Climb To 4k

I honestly think you should have a simple loop in there. not only will it aid temps but it will boost the level of badassery

u could just water cool the gpus and still use your h100 on the cpu
or buy a cpu block as well and do the whole system :D

water cooling will add a lot too your budget tho

up too u so many options

I agree with the general consensus. You should definitely watercool it as the middle and top cards won't get much air at all. And it'll look great as well! Especially if you're using a 750 or 900D

The case just arrived and its huge...extremely huge. I need to do a bit of DIY and cut the shelf above so I can fit it :p

Im gonna start with two gpus and if I don't get the performance I want then ill add another. Im not too worried about temps as I cant see it being a problem.

Edit SSD just come aswell :)

Are you sure, cause its all fitting in a huge case and I was thinking of getting the sapphire 290 with there nice coolers. And also the cpu will have one of those corsair H100 jobbies so no heat there.

Friad so man. I have 2 Asus DCII R9 290s in an NZXT Phantom 410. I have 2 120s intake on the front, 1 120 intake on the floor directly below the cards and a 140 intake the side panel blowing directly onto that cards. There 1 slot spacing between the cards. Exhaust is covered by a 3 120s, 2 in the room and one in the rear. Coupled with very tidy cable management, airflow is not a problem.

I need to have to have all case fans on 100%. Not too loud and lots of air being moved. However I also have to maually set the GPU fans to 100% in AB before and gaming or benching. Even at this, I can see temps in the mid 80s on the top card and this is LOUD!

I've even swapped out the stock TIM, twice! MX-4 and GC-Extremea dn the above are the best temps I can manage on air. With stock TIM and fans left on auto I was hitting 95C in the first minute of running Heaven!
