Wasn't even aware Gigabyte did Black Editions, and the Monitor is just incredible!

Sorry about poor pics but im not very good with the camera. No issues at in these 2 hours, except no screws came with the monitor, luckily took it out of another old monitor.
Does not matter the picture quality is amazing, the blacks are perfect nothing wrong in that area what so ever
I was blown away by the 1440p Elysium trailer on youtube mrk posted on here. Seriously when you get the monitor watch it
Without seeing the framerates there is no performance difference from playing css, wolfenstein, xcom and rome 2 total war. I tried crisis 3 and oh dear... But it looked amazing the grass waving in the wind and the scenery its just great.
Looking forward to building my rig and start some serious gaming on it

That's it now though, I don't think I could go back to 16:9 now. Next monitor will be a 35+ inch 21:9 5k 120hz....imagine:eek::D
I upgrade my monitor about every 4-5 years, so that may be possible.

Finally hit the order button on the 4790k (payday yesterday) along with some mx2 thermal compound. Probably wont get the cpu on release as ive left it quite late, but you never know :)

Might sound a bit crazy but I might not overclock my cpu:eek: I know I bought a h105 plus some good fans along with m2 thermal paste. But I think with the cpu being at 4.4ghz that's pretty damn good, and comparing it to my [email protected] thats still an improvement.
Ill overclock it when I need too (crazy I know) which I cant see me doing for a couple years maybe. And by then there will be lots of bios updates, which might improve the overclock. So far it looks like the best were gonna get out of the 4790k is about 4.7ghz with a not too high 24/7 voltage. Who knows the bios updates may improve that.

Yeah I need a title change really:p
Love my LG its a very good size for me coming from a 27" dell monitor. Gaming on it is amazing with the super wide screen, its harder for enemies to sneak up on me;)
Doesn't matter how small the bezels are it would bother me, I think super wide is the way to go.

Here its is its finally done. Its kinda tidy for me but I don't care I have no ocd:D
Ive ran a handful of games, mainly the ones my last computer struggled with.
Crysis 3 is now perfect, I noticed no slowdown and that's at max settings with no vysnc on.
Arma 3 I had a go on the grand battle scenario, it played very well except when I go about halfway and I think even my cpu struggled with it.
BF4 has gone back up to ultra settings;)

I ran 3dmark firestrike (extreme mode) and scored 8513, not sure how good that is but the program said it done well:p
Played rome 2 with all settings on, apart from the obvious performance difference I couldn't really tell any difference in graphics.

A special mention about the powersupply, I wanted to show a pic of its white glow, but you cant really see it in this pic. If I remember ill do it at night;)

Also this computer is so quiet, you can barely hear the fans especially on the h105.

I haven't attempted to overclock just yet, as to be frank I don't need to. I have turned on the xmp profile for my memory. From what I have seen even a novice wont have much trouble playing about in the bios. Its very user friendly and has a lot of information clearly laid out to you.

Still cant get over the size of it, when I come into my room or wake up in the morning I laugh and say its huge.

Edit: finally put the side window on, as I had to play about with a couple wires. I could only turn my pc on at the motherboard. Awesome little feature having a power button on a motherboard. Also missed two fan wires on the front so wired them in, I still think the pc is very quiet.
