PROJECT: MAGNUS AQUA DOMUS!

You can run them in series, the only issue you may hit is filling, you would need to cycle fluid from the top res to the bottom res first before you hit the switch to fire them both at the same time.

Just keep a close eye on fluid levels in both pump/res combo's as you fill and you should be fine :)

Its pretty much what I had to do with my dual pump setup, cycle the first pump first until the second had plenty of fluid, then fire them both up.

That said if you wanted to go dual loop, it will still work out just as well IMO.

Keep the pumps sell the reservoirs on the MM? Perhaps even consider tops and get a cylinder res in on show?

Though I don't see a problem having two single units in series, just keep an eye on fluid levels while filling :)

One of the final pieces to the puzzle:

Cheers :)

Minor setback, I got the rad 2nd hand from a good friend, presuming it would be m3 bolts, its not it's m4 :(

BUT I should still manage to plumb it in today and I'll fit bolts tomorrow after I've raided works store :)

I couldn't be bothered doing anything to it last night, I was in work until 7 :(

Tonight though, it's happening as I need to get some benches done for ltmatt and get this new memory tested.

@Acme, the gt stealth I sold you has a gloss finish unlike the Sr1 which has a matt almost rubber texture too it. Both a very nice though, completely sold on buying hwlabs radiator now.

According to the box an Sr1 360 can handle over 1300w of heat!!

Just home - long stressful day but I have enough time to do some rad fitting tonight!!

The LED strip is a Phobya FlexLight (white). It came with some double sided tape, that was, well, ****. The natural coil of the strip just pulls it away from the tape, I'll make some better mounting of it over the weekend ;)

I may even move it depending how well it illuminates things.

I don't mind about the pics mate, its in spoiler tags, plus I didn't know Zalman made a nice case!! :)

Got the bleed done nice and easy, I need to grab some more bolts at work tomorrow to straighten things up though.

I also managed to not plug in the molex to ICY BOX, so no OS for now, but it powers up just fine - thankfully. I'll sort the molex tomorrow, its just a wiring nightmare around that area of the case.

With the res about 2/3 full I'm using 2L, not sure if I want to open a fresh bottle to fill it up though.

Hopefully be finished for the most part today, need to work out a kink - literally and get power to the drives then finally install the new memory.

I need to secure the res a little better too, its end heavy at the bottom.

I will be moving the fans to the other side as soon as I get some longer bolts.

It must be a HWlabs thing to only send you 30mm & 5mm screws, as with the 280 I dropped out of the loop, the long bolts weren't quite long enough to go through the rad stand, fan then into the rad. Fairly sure I have a bag of M4x35 cap screws at work (which I should have grabbed before I finished today - bugger).

No benchmarking being done on this mighty build of yours yet P?

I'm working on it, just fine tuning the memory as I need a few profiles for different things :)

Would totally of gone for the akasa viper fans in the top, would suit this build.
Other than that, smashing build pal.

I did have Vipers on a previous build, I do like them so I'll keep an eye out to snag some on next rebuild. Maybe even get some 140mm vipers for the front :)

Moving to yellow/black was almost a last minute thing and already had the golf fans :)

Paul whats your main temps???
Ambient?
Water?
CPU?

thx bud

Ambient is 20c
Water temp is 20.2c
CPU is idling at 21c
CPU loading (P95, 4.75ghz 1.44v) at ~50c
GPU's both idling at 22c
GPU's loading at stock around 35c
Mosfets loading around 40c.

Edit: all case fans are running at around 6v too, the loudest thing in my case is the 40mm fan on the ICY BOX, I'll get creative with a pair of snips next time I'm in the case to disable it.
