What brackets did you use to mount the rad into the 5.25" bay? I hit a snag tonight with the build the brackets I have are no good for me only one fits the rad and the case at the time but the on it's own it can't support the weight and two it stops me from putting in the drive bay covers back in.

They were Lian Li Radiator Brackets 5,25", I put them at the back of the radiator, attached the fans to the front and then placed it in and bolted it up, then the front covers will fit:)

Ah I've just looked at the pictures again. I have those same brackets but I've mounted to the Res, pump to the radiator, if I git the Lian Li brackets like you have the whole thing sticks out to much in the case. I've gone ahead and bought EK-UNI brackets from OCUK, these should do the trick. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have it all fitted.

Thanks, got a couple of more things to do, paint the hard drive holders, I have done 2 out of the 4 but am thinking of a new D5 pump and may use the hard drive area for it and go for a bay res, just not sure yet, also I want to paint the gtx 480 pci plate to black but it's going to be a right pain to get it out now, oh and got to do something with the side panel at some point.

im surprised you swapped out them f12's tho i like them fans, ok partly bcos they cheap, but they seem quiet to me

how you honestly finding the new red ones? they much louder? xigmatek?

I still absolutely love going over your build log hyperst ^.^ I can't wait to build mine :p. I found out case king sell the windowed side panel of my CM Storm Trooper and I'm now kinda leaning towards not having a bay res. :p

Them f12's are pretty good fans tbh, nice and quiet, just fancied a change to be honest, the new one are good as well, there on a fan controller so they are as quiet as the f12's was:), I would say at max speed they are a little louder than the f12's, xigmateks are quite a bit louder than either of the other two, the loudest thing in my system is the pump now:)

Thanks:) I was actually thinking of going bay res my self (seperate pump though to avoid vibrations), I want to declutter it a bit and think a bay res may help but I have a front door which will completely hide it, if only this fractal had a normal front end.

Ahah go look at the trillions of stuff I've added in my WC considering thread I demand answers NOA! xD I can't wait to make my PC look damn nice with some blood red coolant and stuff.. hopefully it'll be as good looking as yours :D

Just read this through from the very beginning - I wish you'd kept a build log for the second and 3rd builds :(

I really wasn;t sure with your choice of colours at the start, then suddenly BAM!!, black and white, then BAM!!! again blood red!!! They DO look fantastic though.

And VERY nice cable management in all 3 builds. I'm not brave enough to touch the cabling on my PSU (it's a HX1000) as I'd rather keep the warranty.

Hey, nice build!, im also starting a build with a 480 in the bottom of my Define XL, do you have skype, msn, facebook or any other places we can chat, i need some help with the modding?

What did you have to cut inside the case to make the 480 fit?
