@ mast3r, the paint is Ford midnight blue from halfords, at £6 a can it isnt cheap :) and its a shame more people dont mod cases like this + it is quite fun to work on :)

ok, onto the hardware :)

motherboard:
i was looking for something future proof/reasonable performance/1156socket and not too pricey :)
so i managed to find a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 with 6gb sata 3 and a lot of good features considering i got it for £70 + 10 p&p :)

CPU:
i aimed for an i5 but as the budget was a bit lower than expected after getting my watercooling bits, i had to admit deffeat and get an i3, lets hope and i get some really good clocks with the cooling.

ram:
for the time being i got 2 x 1gb sticks of corsair XMS and in the not too near future i will get 2gb more.

here is some pics of the hardware and the waterblock on the board (xspc delta with 1156 plate)

Very Nice, It's nice to see a project using the 300 a very versitile case something that you dont see everyday, Very nice colour scheme too!

With regards to the rad, a blast of compressed air in the opposite direction that the fans were blowing is good for cleaning out dust, bugs etc.

Looking nice and will be interesting to see how you lay it all out.
