Don't forget Syndicate Wars and Powermonger, and let's not forget all the other creative folk that put a lot of time and effort into making the games.

Lionhead have already mentioned that all the work that went into Milo is being used on a new Kinect Fable title.

It might not be released as 'Milo' but the tech will be used somehow.

Nearly all of that list is distinctly average. Especially the terrible sequels (and one that's not even out yet, which looks to me like you're being perhaps slightly defensive)

Ahhh i remember populus i loved that game, but as mentioned he's not really made anything amazing since lionhead

I'd rate all but Magic Carpet of the pre lionhead games in that list as excellent, a few of them i'd even say were timeless.

Dunno, I loved Magic Carpet back in the day, even if it did crash a lot.
Would be nice to see something in the same vein designed for the modern day, with a little more complexity and capability (rather than just giving you different colour manas).


Still remember thinking 'ohhhhhh....****' the first time few times I ran into Wyverns (which were like western dragons with rapid fireballs, whilst actual dragons were flying wyrms) in those games...my god were they nasty, and a PITA to kill unless you had a LOT of meteors available.

Would be really nice to see a modern version with more variation, more to do, bigger maps et al, the actual concept was pretty sound.
