Project: mit kleinem Formfaktor

kudos to the build! Maybe throw in another 7970 in the future for CF when theyve come down in price slightly?

I would have loved to gone down the parvum route, but would have meant new mobo which was out of the question.

as this is a thread for the parvum i wonder if someone can shed some light on my build, as ive just started to build a parvum s2.0 but i cant find any info how to connect the vandal switch that comes with it so what wires go on what connector i know they go on the power led and that but dont want to muck it up if im wrong, so where does the red&black and yellow&blue connect to.

Yellow & Blue on Power LED and the remaining 2 on power switch. You'll have to remove either 1 or both pins for the power as it's a 2 pin header, not 3.

ok thanks what do you mean remove pins.

You'll have to pop the pins out of the header in order to connect to the motherboard.

i love this project and the backplate really is a nice touch! debating getting one for my own build

I'd highly recommend it - they are stunning, well made and amazing to work with. My only gripe is the lack of dust filter support. I've had some 120mm DemciFlex filters which I've had to bodge in order to use on the front of the case.

I've had to not use any on the top intakes as my H100i doesn't sit right and I'd hate to break the case.

cheers for the input. might have to order one then. mind me asking how much it cost you to get it personalized?

The backplate can be ordered from ColdZero. If you wanted custom parts for your Parvum, drop them an email and they will provide you with prices. I had considered getting a red motherboard tray, but I don't think it would make much of a difference.

UPDATE

So, been at i51 for a few days now and I've been speaking to the Parvum gents and got some great feedback on my build. So great in fact, I have some mods on the way, with their help ;)

Starting with the the top black panel, it will be replaced with a red one and a new black panel will be added on top of the red to give a double layer. The edges of the top black panel will have a bezel, allowing it to meet the edge of the case on all sides.

They have also offered me a new clear side panel as mine has been scratched while trying to clean it and some sample fans they are working on, which I will look to test in a variety of combinations.

Further updates with pictures will follow over the next week :D

I hope the parvum lads keep at it i can't wait to begin my build but funds won't allow right now.. Before July im promising myself to bring a good one to i52

It would seem their customer base is ever growing, the number of threads on here with Parvum builds has increased dramatically since the launch of the S2, so I'd imagine they will continue to be busy for a while. They are also releasing an ITX case soon, so that I'm sure will bring more interesting builds.

I've just been advised that my parcel from them will be collected tomorrow for delivery on Friday - cannot wait to get more work done.

Pics will follow :D
