Project MSI Osiris

I've Hit a snag and my res has to go back to Ek and swap it out for a shorter one , god knows why on earth i thought a 40cm long tube would fit in my case standing on top if the dual pump with the adapter fitting and have room to fit a 60mm thick 480mm rad and fans .. grrrrrrrrrr

Waste of time for me , they are completely ignoring a sale from me . its been 7 days now . if no answer by Tuesday i will give up and i will keep my money .

Heykillswitch73 have you checked your spam folder in your email account, for some unknown reason my gmail account flagged Bitspower email as spam not once but twice.

The very first email which had the quotation in did go to spam folder but nothing in spam since .

EDIT :

I have now done it all via Skype and for some reason the invoice they sent me bounced back to them .

some updates that i did yesterday with some spare time .

all cages out and bottom sides off to stop myself leaning on them and bending them .

Mid plate , back plate , motherboard tray and 5.25 bay done , ordered a hard drive cage back plate and front fan inside plate and a PSU blanking plate so it will all look nice and neat .

today i changed my order for fittings for a drain and now im going with another rad be it a 120mm rear and will use one of the Riing LED fans thats not visiable on the 480mm raditaor and swap it over and use one of the 3 corsair 120mm fans that came with the case , the other 2 corsair fans im going to use for the far side bottom (psu side) as exhaust to release extra warm air that's in the bottom of the case . the 120mm rad will be on the outside of the case as this will then not cover the Motherboard IO plate (for aesthetics and wont cover the GODLIKE Text on the IO plate)

Backplate

5.25 bay dual SSD plate

Motherboard Tray

Midplate

top Radiator

Covered with masking so it dont get scratched

Motherboard.

I will be cracking on with the rest of the build at the weekend when i have other bits and the other rad .

bare with with me for the photos as they are not very good due to limited space in spare room as my current pc desk is ocupied by a 40in 4K monitor and 32in tv as im still using the Alienware until this is built as my friend is having the Alienware and hes in no rush .

UPDATE

now ordered RGB lights with bluetooth controller to be hooked up to the Aquaero 6 XT along with the front bezel for the controller to go into . its called a farbwerk USB, Bluetooth and aquabus version and Bezel set for poweradjust 2/3 and farbwerk, black anodized .

Bitspower have now contacted me about the full cover blocks and told me they will send as low cost item to beat customs costs ..wow ..bitspower are awesome .

other plates from coldzero arrived also and re-ordered the res and got a EK dual parallel 3 slot block coming to so i wont use to many fittings and will look nice and neat .

120mm rad sent from overclockers and received the re-order of drainage parts from overclockers also .

all bits are coming ..and its cost me about £500 more than i thought it would but that's due to the fan controller and Bitspower full MB block and other bits and bobs like extra plates from coldzero .

OH and the Ram i didn't intend on buying until after xmas . but why do half a job ! this will be my only personal build for at least 3 years until pascal is well and truly bedded in .
This Computer when done is going to look crazy ..

Looking very nice. Love those midplates and plate for motherboard tray and drive bay. will keep a close eye now parts are starting to go in :).

I really reccommend a clear side window, you will see what I mean when you put LEDs in. Cost £30 with tools. Although you can get one from mpctec but they are not cheap :(. It really will set off the build though.

Nice progress mate, looking very clean and slick. Really like the sound of the bluetooth RGB lighting, can't wait to see that in action!

I was really thinking of a clear side window yes ,and your right about the LEDs its going to have a lot as there is the LED strips from aqua computer and the LEDs of the motherboard and then the Red LEDS of the Ram ..

yea the RGB LEDs will be cool and can be controlled by my phone as well as the motherboard LEDs . im also now waiting on coldzero to make my custom MSI Red dragon side and top grill as hes confirmed hes making it and putting it the store .

I have also ordered some Red Plasti dip from here but not sure which parts to paint .

thinking of scrapping the red plasti dip as overclockers have no stock as just had the email . so i might just leave it as it is with color for now and see what the cold zero custom parts look like .

The cold zero parts sound very cool indeed, looking forward to see how they look. I agree for you to wait. If anything something suttle like pin stripes/custom logo or something would look very very nice.

Waiting on just a few more items , my Fan controller with all accessories and LED strips have been shipped , my pcie pin removal tool waiting for that so i can put the stealth cable combs on . had to order my cable from elsewhere as overclockers had no stock and cant be waiting any longer for stuff . its all on my full cover block to arrive , once thats here its all systems GO !

IVe gone black red with the cables and when i get the pin removal tool im thinking of changing to black black red red red black black red red red black black . with pcie GFX cable it will have to be black red red black red red black . pretty strange why these cables ive got are tangled up and the missing pin/pins on the 24 pin plug is different (different position to the actual EVGA 24pin power . wondering if its normal .

Agreed, imho it's often the case that 'less is more' on accent colours... defo see what it looks like with mods first!

I think black and red cables in that config will look very nice indeed. I'm unsure about your cable aswell my hx1000i cables were exactly the same as the new braided ones I got from corsair. Try it in the board. If it lights up it should be ok.

I tested the 24 Pin cable in the power supply and just used the shorting block to test if cable worked when switching psu on and it switched on fine . But that might not mean it will power the board though .

Will be doing more work tomorrow (today along with more pics) i should have done by next weekend all components installed , full cover block installed, 3x 3.5 hard drives relocated somewhere . pump and res in position . so next weekend and beyond i will be doing the tubing and finding out which loops i like the most , this will be done over of about a week sue to other commitments , i have 3 meters to play with and will perhaps buy more if need be . i need to take my time as im not the most patient of men .

overall this build should be finished in 2 weeks as all other components will have arrived .

The overall project including the custom side and top grills will look pretty smart indeed . lets hope the temps are what i am expecting . with 2 x 480 and a 120 rear . with RGB lighting all over the computer it will be epic .

UPDATE:

Parcel force and DHL arrived within 30 minutes of each other and brought me some goodies .
The build will now progress Thursday and Friday of this week as i now have everything apart from the custom top and side grills from coldzero , not sure how the top grill goes on so will have to wait for that before i can start plumbing it all in but i can get all the bottom rad and drain ports all lined up . saying that i dont think it will take that long for the coldzero grills to be here .

My Missis thought this looked cute so now shes got it hanging from her phone headphone port .

Those blocks look awesome :), going to make the board look damn good, and very much one of a kind. I'll be looking forward to seeing some parts go in and the build in general starting to take shape :).
