Project: Plan D

Thanks mate, just a few more bits to do, im going to have to watercool the GPU its getting toasty.

I also have another 4Gb of RAM coming (DDR3 is here to stay for a bit so might aswell get it in)

Currently at 4GHZ on the CPU and the temps are great hopefully they wont budge that much when i add the GPU.

Its nice to sit next to a PC that is quiet and cool again.

edit as a after note my mobo will not run with 4 x 2gb sticks...ive had a nightmare this is the 2nd install of windows i have had, gotta keep trying ...?

another great build Sayso

really love that case, it is one of my favourite from the V series, it has a lot of character, and you have done a supeb job modding it.

admittedly, interior powedercoating would have been rather epic but the final pics really make the system stand out.

Thanks mate but haven't finished yet, have got a couple of little bits here but im waiting for my soldering iron to be returned :)

to be honest the case is hard work, there isn't any space behind the motherboard tray so everythings hanging out at the moment hehe

As for powder coating if only i had the money and someone local to do it, ive had bits made and powdercoated before and its expensive...and if im honest i never keep a set up long enough to make it worth while.

edit £60 mobo is also a bit of a problem, will not run with 8Gb of RAM no matter what i do...i suppose you get what you pay for, roll on bulldozer i have 12gb of DDR3 sitting here doing nothing :(
