Plate 1 is definitely the best, your build will be ruined if you don't use that one.
Cheers guys looks like most like number 2 followed by Number 1 , so heres some images of the plates in place. I havent attached them yet so there only placed on hense why there not flush with the case.

Every time I come back to this thread there is some new to be amazed by. A build of epic proportions and a true display of skills and determination in getting it built. Well done sir, well done.

I like plate 2, the minimalist approach has always appealed to me. I am amazed by the craftsmanship on this build, three cheers for you good sir.

Amazing work as always, one of the first project logs I check when visiting OCUK. Crazy build and worthy of all the attention received.

Small update before I do the final build post.
As the Stand was Steel I needed some protection from it corroding so a simple can of paint did the trick. the ends then protected with some small plastic caps.
As requested Plate 2 was the winner so that was next task was to securely fix it to the drive tray. To do this I unclipped the original plastic tray and milled the face of it to get a flat surface.
Then was a simple task of sticking the brass plate to the milled face.
very short post but the next one will make up for it. Final Photos are ready to be uploaded just need to finish up last of the videos.
