***Project Radbox!***

I know guys its not what i was expecting... Now to try get the claim sorted and get it rebuilt. Tbh if they kept it the right way up then the way its damaged it looks like something really heavy was dropped into the box but it had to be really really heavy to do this much damage.

Absolutely gutted for you mate. Like someone else said, people these days have no respect and care for nothing.

I would say what has happened is due to the rad being mounted on that side. Thats a fairly big weight and therefore a big inertia, soley supported by that panel. Rather than something being dropped onto it I would hazard a guess the box has simply been dropped or thrown, and the resultant inertia has caused those brackets to give way. Its basically tried to shear off that side panel. It would help if the brackets on the vertical sides were able to resist rotation, i.e. a slightly longer bracket with two holes per bracket. Of course it would never have happened if they'd been careful with it.

edit: Also, from the looks of it the hole size in those brackets looks fairly generous compared to the head size of the set screws, maybe woud be better to use washers as well?
