Project 'sillyteg'

keep it, you really can't be far off fixing it properly now. Give up now and you'll wonder what if... stick with it and you'll have a car that is truly yours

As I've said before - Honda's should be kept n/a, this is what you get for messing with God's work. :D

Ok, I never was big on tact. Sorry to hear about your troubles but I really really don't think you should back out now. See it through, be patient, be stubborn, get a bit of fighting spirit. Get it finished.

I think you are so close now. If you change to another ITR engine you will still be pining for more power and wish you'd have finished through with the turbo! Stick with it mate! Tidy up the oil feed leak and get it mapped :)

And think how gutted you will be when after a weekend or two of hard work the next owner gets it mapped and posts pictures/videos.;):o:eek:

Sell it and go back to what was reliable and still plenty fun ;)

I had a fuel leak once in my Pulsar, engine was covered fuel and I'd been driving for a good few miles. Thought it best to put the fag out before popping the bonnet :D

A guy is flying down from Edinburg to look at the car on Sunday. I've been completely honest about the issues and condition of the car, and he still says he will probably buy it.

I honestly don't whow how that makes me feel, I don't know if I'm sad or releaved :/

If this guy on Sunday offers proper money (and to fly down from edinburgh to bristol, you'd have to be half serious or mad!) then sell. Or mug him for the folding he'll undoubtedly be carrying and take your car to a tuner...

If not throw it away in the garage and fix it as and when. It will be worth it in the end, especially to say "I did ALL of this myself".........

I'm fairly used now to cars ******* me off to the max when they break and costing silly money, but that feeling when its all working right and you boot it down your favourite road when its empty is worth all the hassle.

You'll look back and laugh about these annoyances in a few years. Rome wasn't built in a day......

Besides if you don't pull your finger out and finish this by the RR I'll have to put up with the tedium of thrashing scooby's all day. This might stand a chance to pull one back for the ricer brigade. ;):D

If he gives me what I'm asking for (a shade under 5k) then I'll be happy. For that money there are plenty of interesting cars I can import, and by doing that I won't be 'losing' that much money, because I'll save a lot by importing it myself.
