Project Smurf

Ah, thats the difference I was choosing the maximum heat one - I don't think 77-82c is too bad but i've just not found a way to stop windows killing everything for 'safety'... In other news I just added my lighting and a bit of a rewire, my GPU makes a crazy noise while in high FPS so testing that - looks like its the 980Ti that is doing it :(

Damn man, that doesn't sound good at all, you think it might be faulty? Sucks if it is, especially after getting it running so sweet on a decent clock :(

Microsoft really are morphing into Apple IMHO, it's like they don't trust anybody to know how to use the product properly so they just treat everybody as if they have a single figure IQ and need protecting from themselves. This will be the first time I've used Windows in years apart from XP in VirtualBox for work, and after a couple of hours I'm happy that it will be purely for gaming, with Linux Mint for everything else :) Was surprised at how fast 10 installed but damn, I didn't miss those driver issues! "LAN not working? Go online to install the latest drivers..." :D

What lighting did you go for after? Look forward to seeing the results whatever you chose :)

Oh yes, and in a bit of completely shameless self promotion, check out my nowhere near as impressive as yours build log over here ;) (I wasn't brave enough to go for hard tubing!)

EDIT: Ran a stress test with CPU-Z and after 30 minutes the CPU topped out at 48°C. This is with the fans turned down low and pump set to 30%, so not too bad but not brilliant. Ambient temp 19°C Water temp topped out at 26°C.
