However they are supposed to look like that, you can't really tell if theres anything wrong with them by looking a them, levering a breaker bar inbetween the ARB and the wishbone and seeing if they jump around usually tells if they are knackered.

If they are the original droplinks at 5 years old and average miles then I would say they probably need replacing yeah.
