Project: Watery

Righty-ho, res time folks.

Here is the final 1:1 CAD design ready for cutting tommorrow morning.

As I hoped to describe via. the images, the little line 'thingy' is to underline the sponsors, and 'cos I felt like doing it and being different. The 3x10.8mm holes are for tapping to G1/4" threads, the two lower ones are plumbed into the loop, with the top one for bleeding and filling. The 8mm holes around the outside are for some titanium bolts I came across, 8 of the holes will hold the res together and connect to the case aswell, while the remaining 8 will be just holding the res together...

As at the top, I'm hoping to cut all the acrylic tommorrow :D

Man, if your doing your GCSE's you must be like 15/16 and doing this stuff at that age is inspiring as your probably younger than me, by no more that 2 years i would think.
Great job, looking forward to finished peice.

Yup, I'm 16 and a half or so... I havn't had time to make the res yet as I'm lacking a G1/4" Tap to make the threads for my barbs and I've been doing GCSE's and lots of sleeping.

I'll try and update this afternoon with some proper renders of the final res. design.

Thanks for your patience.

As before, my PSU is supposed to arrive tommorrow, so while I'm going to be sleeving that, I though I'd sleeve some of the other other cables in the case.

My Sleeving of choice is AC Ryan's UV Green sleeving in various sizes. As for sleeving, I'll be doing it MurderBox style, so sleeving every cable individually with the 3mm.

These are the other current parts to be sleeved.

Various bits of heatshrink and sleeving.

I've also got some new Feser 1/2" G1/4" Compression fittings comming in the next week or so from Mario @ TFC. These fittings will fit in brilliantly with the theme of the mod too :D

Sorry i didnt mean you lacked the skill. I have crap creative skills and posting skills it would seem:D

only joking mate, no worries, i knew what you meant

keep the updates coming, your lucky you've only 2 molex plugs to remove-sleeve-replace they're pretty fiddily, i find an over-sized paperclip best for getting those pins out

what software have you mainly been using for you design work?

edit: doh! cobalt by the looks of it

Wooohoo! I got my res cut today!

I still need to etch the logo's and to tap the back panel with G1/4" holes, and M5 threads for mounting.

So, the pron.

Any one drooling :D
