Wow I've never seen someone argue so poorly as this.
Come on spoffle, you've seen me argue poorly !

*Disclaimer: I never argue poorly.*
Wow I've never seen someone argue so poorly as this.
Source for him having mental heath?
See how easy it is to do![]()
Witnesses said the dead man was known as Africa and had been homeless after treatment for mental illness.
Shooting victim
- Nicknamed Africa, had been living on the street for months, eyewitnesses say
- Said to have spent 10 years in a mental health institution before winding up homeless
- Said by people who knew him to have not been violent but still exhibited "mental problems"
"said" to have etc.
Not fact.
Still see how easy it is to do this "source for that" rubbish.![]()
Seeing how Stulid avoided my question earlier it seems quite funny that his is being asked.
With Stulids thinking, if you were drunk and drunkenly made a grab for a police officers gun, that officer (or nearby officers) are entitled to shoot you. Which is the question I asked of him.
Also, something isn't pretentious just because you don't understand it.
Believe it or not if I made a move for an armed police officers gun, drunk or not, I wouldn't be at all surprised if i was shot dead.
I'm drunk. Once I get said gun who knows what I might do??
It's still a tragedy and a waste of life.
These officers make snap calls under pressure. Maybe sometimes they get it wrong. This will be investigated an outcome will be made.
I repeat, its tragic.
No, I am sorry I provided you with a source.
Here it is;

You have fundamentally misunderstood what a source is.
You're correct, that isn't why I labelled it pretentious though.
Re the rest, yes I added my two pence worth. Got carried away; but we get on of these every other week. People see a video snapshot and start branding police murderers. You even saw it with the Michael Brown case (might not have been a video for that but the officer was still vilified)
Homeless man apparently had mental health issues. Were the police to know that prior to arriving and shooting him? Or did this come out after? They shot him because at that precise moment in time someone judged him to be an immediate threat to the public or themselves.
Being a police officer in America is pretty dangerous, due to it's backward nature with regard to its gun laws.

I asked for a source and you only just posted it
But again, its all speculation that he has mental heath issues, nothing confirmed.
I would like to think those officers could and would react without shooting you balky.
This is tragic, the officers 'dealt' with this situation wrong. There was no need for this man to lose his life.
Err, no. I posted the source (link) several post prior. So have you now understood what a source is?
.
Aggressive, homeless man with mental health issues is forced to the ground by four police officers and executed in the middle of the day, and according to you was 'dealt with'.
The shooting took place in the city's Skid Row where thousands of homeless people live on the streets - many of them suffering from a mental illness.
Ahh, you are one of those people who are like "It's ok, they are just doing their job"Homeless guy with mental disability is resisting arrest and gets shot, he happens to be black, everyone shouts racist.
Looks like another popcorn moment.
This is a homeless man on 'skid row' in L.A.. I fail to understand how the officers would not expect there to be an increased chance of this man suffering from mental health problems.
I would hope so to. It would be a drunken mistake by me and I would rather not die. But they have a split second to assess the situation and make a call. It's well within their power to shoot me, and I could be a potential threat if i get my hand on that gun.
I just feel that going round and labelling police murderers is just wrong. They put their lives on the line (arguably even more so than UK police). This will go to review and an outcome will be reached. If they handled it wrongly then they will be punished.
I asked for a source and you only just posted it

You said he had mental heath issues.
And I asked for a source proving this which you still haven't done as all he articles are just speculation and assumption as he was on skid row.
from the BBC article (your "source")
Many is not all.
source

You said he had mental heath issues.

They won't though will they, I bet nothing comes of this at all.
No. No. No.
According to my source, the unarmed victim suffered from mental health problems.
I have provided you with the source for my information.
I'm not sure you're sure what a the word source means.
