Prototype

I think I'd certainly be more accurate and effective with the PC controls but have to say I'm enjoying kicking back with a controller.

Would people recommend playing this with kb/mouse or a 360 pad? Think I might grab it this weekend :)

I'm a keyboard/mouse person mate, but I've put my 360 controller on and it's far, far easier to control and frankly much more fun!

Awesome fun, honestly I've been laughing heartily at the mayhem I'm causing since I started playing a hour or so ago :D:D

Just did that - use the missle launchers, keep sprinting/jumping and shooting. Kill soldiers if you need to heal up but don't go toe to toe with the ugly mutant things. Wasn't any problem for me once I realised that, just keep moving and you'll be fine. Shoot whilst in the air to avoid being interupted.

@uv - use a pad for maximum enjoyment. Though the kb and mouse is probably better if you're more concerned with kick ass...

@Bunyan - Also try devastator attacks. Two well-placed ones when you enter the place can take out half the tanks near instantly.

Yeah 360 pad, i much prefer KB/Mouse for games that need accuracy, but Prototype has none of that really. You can lock on to enemies, and even when you aint locked on your character still goes for 'em when aiming very roughly the same direction. It's not a pinpoint aiming skillful game.

It seems to be a pretty speedy game as far as I can see, not much of a wait when it comes to the loading screens. Im more than happy now that my chip is clocking to 4.0 and quite stable in Prime, even though 5 of the 8 cores decided to fail after about 5hrs, but then that is pretty good going I think, but rjkoneill is working on a solution for me, so in the end of it all with the tweaking that will be done, it should be good enough to last in Prime without any cores failing

Completed the main story after about 6 hours. Enjoyed it thoroughly but a bit of an abrupt ending!

downloaded a torrent, played it for ten minutes, then bought it :)
rather annoying that there's no demo..

It's rather awesome so far.. runs like butter on my laptop, and everyone likes some mindless superpower fun :p

Dunno how some folks finished it in 6 hours, I'm at twice that and only about half way through. I just like exploring and seeing how well people bounce off walls though :)

Its the exploring and running around that soaks up the time, but some people just go the strict way and just run through the main missions, but then you are missing out on all the fun that this game really has to offer ;)

Yea it's taken me a lot longer to get to the final supreme hunter.

Can't beat him either :( And there's no option to change difficulties.

3 devastator attacks and as many tins of whoop *** I can throw at him and he just won't die within 1:30s when he gets down to 1/4 health.

Gaaaaaaaaay

Just use the method it suggests to you - blade/dodge/etc.

It makes it really obvious for you to be honest.
