Just completed this bad boy, thoughts below:
+Hectic action, probably one of the best games I've played of it's type. Manages to blend free-roaming carnage fairly seamlessly with the missions (in contrast to say, Just Cause)
+Acceptable performance 60fps+ (generally cpu limited)
+Real world location feels good to explore
+Improves as it goes on, initially I wasn't sure if I'd carry on playing it
+Good range of cutscenes although the whole web of intrigue thing gets quite confusing, seeing short snippets from random folk you consume
+Final mission is good, I like the fact that there are many different ways you can approach it e.g. hurling objects, hijacking helicopters, consuming solders to power devastators, or just wade in with your preferred attacks.
-Can get a bit repetitive although buying new upgrades as you progress helps to alieviate this
-Irregular checkpointing, sometimes you get another after 30s of gameplay, at other times (e.g. Elizabeth fight) you are probably talking 10mins+ having to tackle tough sequences and being ultra-cautious to avoid having to start over.
-Side missions are generally dull and repetitive, I didn't bother with that many of them
-Controls a bit awkward at times especially during boss fights when targetting locks on to the wrong enemy
-Some fairly stupid continuity e.g. you are helping Blackwatch defend this device from waves of attacks, then in between waves they just start hosing you down with fire so you have to sprint off down a side street, wait for the monsters to attack and then return
