Prototype

Wolverine has deffo been one of the most enjoyable games I've played this year, but then I enjoyed DMC4.

Both way better than any rubbish war FPS type things.

ah DMC4 is a 08 game though and easily one of best SP to ever come to pc imo

DMC for the story and movies
wolverine for the none stop button bashing

i love my button bashers though :)

No online play.

Well he is in for a let down then. That was the point in us buying the same game. I think the videos on youtube that I seen on this turned me off to the game right off the bat. I'm not a superhero kinda guy. The closest thing I liked as a kid was batman because he didn't have super powers and was still bad ass. I'd rather just have jets/planes/jetpacks on gta iv than to buy this game.

I've completed it and I'll be honest, still having fun running about. Nice relaxing game :) Glad i had the 360 controller though, would hate the game otherwise.

Okay I take that back, after a couple more hours it's not longer fun to wreck havoc anymore. I'm still trying to figure out why this game was made and where it went wrong?

maybe a multi-player mod would make it fun?

The game is really fun, I really enjoy it whenever I decide to have a quick go, although it never is a "quick go" as the time really does disappear when you get your head in it and just want to go through the missions and the events so you can upgrade a lot of the options that you get, that get added when you complete the next mission, so it never gets boring when you get stronger and stronger as the game goes on

Does anyone have the xpadder profile for this on a PS3 type controller?

For some reason the game will not recognise the controller and my 6yr old niece thought it would a good idea to use my game booklet as a scoop for wet sand yesterday

Does anyone else have issues with this? I turned everything to max in the menu last night and turned off VSync now I cant see anything -.-

edit - actually its if I AA using the game settings, if I have AA on in my CCC and have the application setting un ticked will mine over rule it?

Right, got this game a few days ago when I was stuck in bed with man flu, did the campaign and I'm going through again doing all the side missions and stuff - lots of fun.

My main issue is the looks of the game. I have everything set to max (running windows7, 4870 512mb and a stock e8500 at 1900x1200) yet I find myself thinking "is this it?" everytime I play the game. It's not that the graphics are bad, they just seem to be a bit unfinished or old, like an early ps3/360 game.

Does anyone else find this at all? I seem to think it especially shows when the camera zooms in for a kill/jacking.

On the plus side neither CPU nor GPU seems to get very stressed at all when playing, no fans spin up and temps stay low even though FPS are high and gameplay is buttery.

runs absolutely fine with everything maxed on my comp, which is not cutting edge. No stutter, no "buttery", smooth as a babies bum. Graphics were not a priority for these guys, game play is.

Just have to say: 'WOW'. This game is great fun.

Reminds me of GTA or Just Cause gone nuclear. So much fun going berserk in a city.

Seems fairly straight-forward for the first few hours, anything non-obvious I should know?

Have to say if they made the graphics any different then the stuttering would have been bought in as there's so much happening at once!

Good game and very hard in places - defending the doctor was a nightmare!

I dont find the graphics bad at all, they are quite good, especially with the killings, makes it all the more fun. It was not a game that was supposed to be all about the graphics, but more about the fun game play aspects, which is what makes a game more enjoyable and will last longer, rather than amazing graphics, but no gameplay.

If you want a game that is graphically amazing, go and pick up Crysis 2, released summer next year with the Cryengine 3. New computer required for that me thinks, not that I have that sort of money after I blew a load on a new machine back in april
