Looks like a nice open world freeform game like gta but with monsters, freerunning and shapeshifting.

Tho knowing our luck it will be a poor port or somit.

Mainly interested in the open world in this as the game looks nice i.e enviroments etc, i wonder if driving will be any good and if u can do it without things trying to kill u all the time which looks like the game does try to kill u constantly lol.

Huh, looks horribly generic and uninteresting to me, and I was completely unsurprised when they mentioned their previous game was the Hulk one, since this looks almost identical, bar a new model for the main character. And a tenner says it'll have been designed for consoles first and foremost.

i like how the game looks, but as for gameplay it just seems like its all done before, nothings really new. Also mentioned is the ability to roam anywhere on the map, isnt that just limited to outdoors new york? or just what i can see anyway.

Feedback from the dodgy side!

Game is f----- brilliant.

Combat initially felt weird but after 15 min everything felt fluid. The city is huge and gorgeous (just finished the mission where you have to consume an agent for the web of shadows bit). You don't start off gliding but after the second mission you can purchase it from the evolution menu. The game overall is a blast. Nothing like picking up some dude who told me to f---- off and then hauling his ass up a building and then throwing it as far as the eye can see. The story is kind of hammy thus far (i think the girlfriend might be important) but the combat is awesome.

I can only agree to this. This is the GOTY for me.
F---- awesome...running around...changing costumes...grabbing someone...running up the houses very fast...throwing people 500 meters ... running up the houses with cars etc. Its so much fun.

Infamous demo was slow and boring compared to this for me... gameplay is soo fast and so much fun.
Im very happy that I did not buy infamous!

This should be a really great game. I have already pre-ordered it, so I should hopefully receive it tomorrow, before the friday general release day.

Would have been a console game order, but want to test out my PC and this game should put it through its paces, making it better than the consoles basic settings.

There are no reviews out for this game, probably because it would steal Infamous thunder as they are both getting released at the same time

I had been looking forward to this game for a while, had seen some trailers a while back. I only heard about Infamous very recently.

I think this will be pretty good tbh

it reminds me like the spiderman game on pc, i forgot what it was called, it seems basically the same, just with a different main character

i wont be buying this, i can guarantee i would get bored of it

I've been keeping an eye on this and have decided it's not my kind of game.

It looks to dumbed down and "consolly" as in you jump around a open world like Spiderman and then Hulk Smash some stuff.

The graphics are also quite poor for what is supposed to be a modern game.

Going to wait for the reviews before deciding on the PC or the console version, is it a games for windows or steam only release? The cost on steam is ridiculous compared to what you can buy it online for, but id ideally like to tie it to steam.

Had a go on this when it came into store today and it's very much a console game if I'm honest, I don't think it'll translate particularly well at all to PC but I may very well be wrong. It plays a lot like Crackdown does but with a lot more gore and bloody violence. I quite like it as a game, it's good fun, but I wouldn't buy it for PC.
